This is a sculpture I created to be a light source. The maroon pieces were created by crocheting in a circular hyperbolic curve. There are wholes in the middle of the structures in which are placed small lights, all attached to a recycled piece of wood from a local construction site. I was inspired by the scripture in which Jesus says "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12). When knowing Christ, we have the light of Christ in our hearts which exposes all.

Light In Our Hearts
